Entry point 1
NPCKibellah makes a ritual gesture, but you notice her fingers tremble. "Domin'[Name], you need to know about what happened. You and no one else."
NPC"During the divination that revealed Adalbert's betrayal to me, my trance was interrupted. Instead of converging on a single point, my thoughts were thrown off the intended path, and I lost my thread." She looks up at you with distress in her eyes. "What distracted me... were thoughts of you."
YOU"You were thinking about me?"
NPCShe nods. "Your image intruded upon my mind when it was supposed to act as a blade seeking its target — when all of my being was focused on fulfilling my duty. My trance was broken, and I committed an offence against the Undying One."
NPC"I was able to restore my trance and banish all thoughts that didn't belong. But that this happened at all is still worrying." She pauses. "You... are dear to me, more so than I first realised. But my duty is to serve the Undying One. What if..." She falters, then looks at you intently. "What if your presence in my mind, in my labyrinth... goes against the Tenets?"
YOU"I doubt the God-Emperor forbids our bond."
NPCKibellah's eyes narrow into slits. "Careful, Domin'[Name]. Not even you can presume to speak for Him. His designs are unfathomable — the best we can do is read the signs and hope that our service pleases Him."
NPC"Domin'[Name]... our fates are connected. We walk the same labyrinth. Tell me... what would you do if your mind's worries were to dull your resolve and mar your spirit?"
YOU"I would continue doing my duty."
NPCKibellah nods, though somewhat uncertainly. "Of course. It would be strange to expect you to say otherwise, Domin'[Name]."
NPCKibellah gives you a look of painful doubt — and tenderness. "Enough. Let us go back." Before she turns to leave, her fingers wrap around your hand and squeeze it passionately.
YOU"I would accept that the appearance of someone important in my life was bound to throw things into a bit of a disarray."
NPCShe lets out a quiet laugh. "Your life is in enough disarray as it is. Still, your ability to exist in pandemonium without losing sight of your goal deserves some praise..."

YOU"Desires and passions will not stand in my way. Predators do not bow their heads. Nor are they deterred by obstacles."
NPCKibellah focuses all her attention on you. Her eyebrow tenses in some desperate struggle. "You are right. Predators never stop chasing their prey. Never." She smirks. "The Vizsier hardly would have approved of me ignoring the Tenets... but he also never had to face the kinds of trials that I have."

YOU"I refuse to answer that question."
NPC"But..." she exclaims before momentarily falling silent. Her glare burns into you... but then, her expression shifts. "I understand. The Tenets are not your destiny. You cannot tell me what to do. We may walk the same labyrinth, but I must find the path myself."
NPC"Forgive me. And thank you for this lesson. I am so used to relying on the Vizsier's teachings that, when faced with an obstacle he did not warn me about, my instinct is to seek advice from others." Kibellah touches your chest. "Thank you for letting me pick myself up, [Name]."

YOU"I am tired of your woes. There won't be anything to distract you anymore, because you and I are done."
NPCKibellah closes her eyes. She looks as if she wants to say something... but she merely nods instead. "I accept your choice, Domin'[Name]."
YOU"Thinking about someone you hold dear is perfectly normal."
NPC"You don't understand. It may be normal for laypeople, but not within the Bloodspun Web. Not for me. If I lose control of what makes me a faultless weapon — then what will be left of me?"
NPC"Domin'[Name]... our fates are connected. We walk the same labyrinth. Tell me... what would you do if your mind's worries were to dull your resolve and mar your spirit?"continues where this line first appears above
YOU"Why are you so distraught? Can't you reserve even one small part of your life to yourself?"
NPCHer eyes flash. "Every life becomes death. Every thread of choice is part of the Bloodspun Web. Every movement of my soul belongs to Ahn—" She stops short.

YOU"I didn't mean to complicate your ritual."
NPCShe shakes her head. "I know, but your shadow blocked my vision when I was looking for a sign from Him."
NPC"I was able to restore my trance and banish all thoughts that didn't belong. But that this happened at all is still worrying." She pauses. "You... are dear to me, more so than I first realised. YOU[Smirk] "That is quite the confession. You have submitted to an opponent who didn't even land a single blow! How does it feel?"
NPCHer brow furrows. "You've chosen a poor time for jests. Through training and abstinence, my mind has been shaped to be impenetrable to outside influence. And still, you forced your way into my mind's eye and put the whole ritual at risk."
