One-EyeSomething in your gaze causes the bandits' smiles to disappear. One of them whispers something to the leader. The one-eyed man clicks his tongue to mask his trepidation. "Groxshit... Off with you. Putting down palace brats is more mess than it's worth."
BanditThe bandits let you pass, having seemingly lost all interest in you.

One-EyeSomething resembling sympathy flickers in the man's lone eye. "Fine, pretty. We're all in the same boat down here. My bride-to-be will make do without your dress. Go."

One-EyeSeveral bandits at once break into howling laughter. "Oh, that sure gave me a fright, it did," says the leader through the tears, casually pulling a knife from his sleeve. Glaito, standing by your leg, lets out a rumbling growl, and the laughter stops.
EdytkaThe bandits sneer while eyeing the cyber-mastiff. Suddenly, a familiar voice calls out from above: "You leave that sweet girl alone, you half-baked bridegroom! I won't accept a present like that — and if you hurt her, I won't let you on my doorstep either!" The young woman from the Impostor Hunt is smiling at you from the balcony of a nearby hut. It is hard to say if she has recognised you as the Rogue Trader, but she clearly remembers Maive.
One-EyeThe bandit leader glares at the woman, then spits. "That fussy hag! Thinks she can push me around... You, in the dress: get lost if you know what's good for you!"

Man with ScissorsOne of the bandits pulls out a knife, apparently planning to take on the cyber-mastiff, then stops dead. You hear a voice behind you, one you recognise: "This woman has the right cut. Leave her alone, or come meet my scissors."
One-EyeYou turn around to see a familiar figure standing by a wall — the avenger from the rich quarters. The bandits' faces suddenly tense. The one-eyed leader scoffs: "Take the girl if you fancy her so much. I don't like crossing lunatics."

BanditThe cyber-mastiff lunges at the leader of the bandits — his metal jaws start mincing flesh and bone like the knives of a giant meat grinder, moving faster than your eyes can even follow. Within seconds, the man who threatened you is a mutilated corpse, and his more fortunate henchmen are fleeing in terror.
BanditYou notice that the cyber-mastiff's jaw is slightly crooked — one of the bandits must have managed to get in a solid blow. When you try to touch it, Glaito turns away and growls menacingly.

Bandit"Uh-huh, sure. I'll bet that nice dress of yours is from the upper quarters. And that dog? Ooh, so fancy-looking! I'd love one of those for myself." The leader takes a step forward. Glaito moves to block his path. A low growl makes the hound's jaws vibrate.

BanditThe local inhabitants coming down the slope look hostile in the extreme. The vilest of them is missing an eye, but he makes sure to keep his remaining one fixed on you.
One-Eye"Hey, poppet. Where'd you get that dress? You know, my bride-to-be would love to wear a dress like that on her wedding day. Would you lend it to her?" The one-eyed bandit glances at your dirty yet expensive clothes. Something tells you that these people would gladly peel the dress off you, right along with your skin.
YOU"Please, let me through. I'm just a poor girl. I don't have anything!"
YOU"Of course I'll lend it to you. Right after I flay you where you stand, scum."
YOU"Aren't you that One-Eye fellow? Should I give Murgeth your regards? She's waiting for me up ahead!"
One-EyeYou watch the bandit leader's expression slowly shift from confusion to barely concealed terror. "Damn it... You can give her this!" After making a rude gesture at you, the man turns and steps aside.

YOU"Listen here, you groxshit. Us from the underbelly have ways to repay those who go after our own — in the same coin. Got it?"
One-EyeThe bandits exchange looks, and one of them lets out a whistle. The leader looks caught off guard. "So, you're one of us then. All right, I hear you. Just stay off my turf from now on, yeah?"
