Cases of special interest are heard at this Palace. Sentences are carried out here also."

Only here on Dargonus does such an unusual ceremony exist — Benefaz von Valancius was known for his eccentricities. It is said that he invented this system himself and started this glorious tradition in which you are to take part today."

In such instances, there is always a guilty party whose lies, connivances, or negligence have caused damage to the protectorate. The task of the judge is to establish guilt and pass a stern sentence, as order cannot be imposed without these, or without summary executions."
