NPC(sequence)
Ulfar"Aett-Vater, I know of such creatures. Hiding dishonourably until you lure it from its lair by blood and by force. I have not vanquished these monsters before, but we shall see — perhaps this Drover will prove worthy of a verse!"
MarazhaiThe Drukhari's thin lips stretch into a nasty smile. "Such a creature would be to the taste of any arena owner in Commorragh... but this particular 'drover' has no chance of winding up there — it will die much sooner than that."
Argenta"That abomination is a testament to how xenos influence twists and defiles the very nature of all things. In the light of the God-Emperor, thorns should serve only as protection for fragile blossoms. But, with xenos involved, these barbs pierce the earth and drink its vital humours. Not for the sake of life, but for the sake of desolation."

Vedka Dunawski"There it is, Lord Captain... God-Emperor protect us, this is the first time I've ever seen it this close." Captain Dunawski regards the monstrosity with mingled terror and fascination. "I see two lines of attack. One to the flower, the other to the growth. The flower sprays poisonous pollen, while the growth spews out flesh-eating flies. Which approach do you want me to take, Your Lordship/Ladyship?"
YOU"Your target is the flower."
Vedka Dunawski"It will be done, Lord Captain! Let's go."
Vedka Dunawski"Sergeant Janur Batoshski, you're in charge of the tactical operation. Your combat experience is greater than mine, and the Handbook dictates that command in the field be delegated wisely."
Sergeant Janur"Really? Thank you for your trust."
NPCAlmost silently, the Guardsmen disappear into the foliage, taking up attack positions. You glance around again, preparing for the final push.
NPCDunawski moves so silently, you would not know that she spends her days in camp dealing with quartermaster business, rather than commanding scouting parties in the field. You glance around again, preparing for the final push.
Sergeant Janur"That's for sure, Your Lordship/Ladyship! Atonement for the one. Let's move."
NPCAlmost silently, the Guardsmen disappear into the foliage, taking up attack positions. You glance around again, preparing for the final push.
YOU"I order you to deal with the growth."

Sergeant Janur"There it is, the Drover. Hefty beast... There are two ways down from here. That way leads straight to a flower, an abomination that sprays out poisonous clouds. And the other way leads to a growth that swells and spews flesh-eating flies. What route do you want me to take?"
