SuspiciousThe planet, riddled with huge tunnels, resembles an ant hill of gigantic proportions. Even looking down on the eerie landscape chills the blood. The ship's augurs do not detect any signs of life on the surface.
YOUScan the planet.
SuspiciousThe entire surface of the planet is lifeless grey rock, but the atmosphere is breathable without a voidsuit. In some deep tunnels, strangely shaped chalky sediments have been found.

YOUSend an expedition.
SuspiciousThe scouts wander through the huge, empty tunnels for a long time, sending infrequent and mostly uneventful reports back to the bridge, until communication with one of the first groups is cut off. The vox simply can no longer pick up the right frequency.
YOUSend a new team to the missing group's location.
SuspiciousA new scouting team is immediately dispatched to the site of the disappearance — and very soon sends back a report that the vox-signal is blocked by the strange, matte-black material that covers the walls of the tunnels at a certain depth. They also report that inside these tunnels are the remains of a camp, apparently belonging to an Imperial expedition.
YOUExplore the Imperial camp.
SuspiciousFor several kilometres ahead, the tunnels are filled with time-worn fortifications and ancient weapons and equipment as fragile as glass. The scouts are surprised to find several hastily assembled stone barrows — the people who spent time in these tunnels have probably already found everything they wanted, buried their dead, and left the planet.
YOUCall off the expedition and leave the planet alone.
SuspiciousThe huge holes of the asymmetrical tunnels stare after your ship like a thousand dark eyes.
YOUDispatch an armed squad to the missing group's location.
SuspiciousThe armed soldiers nearly shoot the missing team members who come out to meet them. They also report that inside these tunnels are the remains of a camp, apparently belonging to an Imperial expedition.
