Entry point 1 of 3
Seberian"I wished to do this swiftly and without bloodshed. But a civil war aboard the flagship? I shall not become like the accursed Goge Vandire..." Seberian falls silent, lowering his head with the whirring of his mechanical spine, before mustering his resolve. "I withdraw my claim, [Name]. We shall settle this matter later, once the crisis has passed. And on that, I shall swear an oath. Before the Warrant itself." Yet he voices even his capitulation and request as both a verdict and a command.
SeberianSeberian inserts his hand into the gene-lock you remember well from the time of the mutiny on the ship that claimed Theodora's life and laid Kunrad's treachery bare. You see the liquid coursing through your ancestor's plasteen veins change colour. The servitor's eyes come alive, and the doors of the Warrant Chamber begin to open.
Entry point 2 of 3
Seberian"Haven't you realised yet, my heir? I never give up. Rogue Traders fight to the end, always, until they perish amid stars unknown."

Entry point 3 of 3
Seberian"Your swiftness is commendable, my heir. Which, alas, is more than I can say about your foresight or your readiness to bear the burden of power. But I will let you save face. Wait here and pretend you were a little late." Under the vox-synthesiser distortion, Seberian's voice sounds sincere. How genuine those emotions truly are remains to be seen.
YOU"I demand an explanation. You are on my ship."
Seberian"That would have been the truth — if a sad one — were I not alive. But as things stand, your claim to my flagship is dubious at best, don't you think?"
Seberian"I would have turned a blind eye to that, were it not for your woefully poor leadership. Under your rule, our dynasty is headed into decline — something that I once paid a high price to avert. You allowed yourself to become Calcazar's puppet when you handed him the Yoke. You are not prepared, my heir. Bow before a true Rogue Trader and join my retinue. Then, one day, when you are ready, you will rightfully inherit my Warrant. And by the Golden Throne, you will be worthy! I will do everything to see to that."
YOU"Those are your reasons? I would call them a pretext!"
Seberian"I know how unworthy leadership withers a dynasty. I know how the spirit of von Valancius has been dwindling over the generations, turning its leaders into common merchants. And I know how a dynasty can become a puppet. I will not let that happen."
Seberian"I only have one wish, and that is to preserve and bolster the greatness of our dynasty. We are Rogue Traders, and that is what we must remain. A rare few independent thinkers, unconstrained by Adeptus Terra dogma, inquisitive, and bold enough to oppose anyone save the God-Emperor. We are the crusaders of Him on Terra. That and nothing else. I cannot allow you to reduce the dynasty to a shadow of what it is meant to be! I simply cannot." Toward the end of his impassioned speech, the modulated emotions in Seberian's voice sound almost real to you. You can almost hear the voice he spoke with before his terrible injuries.

YOU[Address your ancestor's retinue] "I might spare Seberian himself, but you shall be executed as common rabble."
SeberianYou see Seberian's newfound followers exchange nervous glances and turn pale. Seberian himself stands motionless, proud and majestic in his absolute composure.

YOU"You are right. I am not ready for the weight of this title."
Seberian"Unless you are pretending, you can be proud of yourself, my heir. You have overcome the thirst for power and you have looked beyond the veil of pride. One day, when I have taught you everything I know, you will be a great Lord Captain."

YOU"Don't you dare touch the gene-lock! I forbid it under penalty of death!"
Seberian"You have no authority to give me orders. The Warrant of Trade is rightfully mine, more so than it is yours."

YOU"What are you doing? What is this madness?"
Seberian"Sometimes salvation requires we take desperate steps. This is the only way, heir. To venture into the darkness between the cold stars, to move away from the Astronomican, is, by the measure of many, an even greater madness."
