Entry point 1 of 5
NPCYour efforts to inflict as little damage as possible on the Imperial relic are paying off — not that you have left no marks at all, but, at the very least, you do not seem to have damaged the paper itself.
NPCAs you step off the rustling parchment, the doors of the Chamber begin to slowly open.
Entry point 2 of 5
NPCYour intentions to inflict no damage on the Warrant of Trade are not panning out. However, given its size, it is unlikely that anyone will notice a few small holes, right...?

NPCThe icy cold shredding your body into hundreds of frozen particles recedes, and the green glow of Necron technology is replaced by trembling firelight. You are on the deck of your ship, and something soft, rustling and muffling your footsteps bunches beneath your feet. An expanse of thin, beautifully preserved paper, covered in neat High Gothic lettering. A great artefact of antiquity, your dynasty's Warrant of Trade, is spread out beneath your feet.
YOU"Seberian, are you all right?"
Seberian"No. But I will be, [Name]. You could have left me there, after all, but you chose to talk an old man round. Against all odds. You have the heart of a true Rogue Trader — bold, hungry, fair to a fault. I... misjudged you. But now I am proud of you. You are an heir worthy of the dynasty's crown."

YOU"Trazyn let us go just like that?"
Seberian"This is but a reprieve. That decrepit xenos does not forget. He will come back for you. You have made a powerful enemy, [Name]." Seberian lets out a dry chuckle. "But by our enemies is the glory of our lives measured, at the end of it all."

YOU[Carefully step off the Warrant, whispering prayers of repentance] "May the God-Emperor forgive us..."
NPCYour boots inevitably soil the Warrant, yet each sacrilegious step only stokes righteous fury within you, strengthening your will and your faith, as if the God-Emperor Himself is sending forth His divine wrath.

YOU[Walk unceremoniously over the Warrant] "Enough quaking. It's just an old writ."
NPCIn this moment, the last sacred thing within you crumbles. The others are too shocked to even notice where you tread. But here and now, you have committed the final blasphemy, this time not only against the God-Emperor but against the very order of the Imperium. Even the dynasty no longer means anything to you — it is no more than a tool for your own ambitions.

YOU[Carefully step off the Warrant, trying not to damage it]
YOU[Silently take the first step]
NPCYou are too exhausted to make speeches, nor worry about anything at all. The Warrant has been recovered, and that is what matters. You feel hollow. You simply. Need. To rest.

NPC(sequence)
Abelard"Attention all! Remove yourselves from the sacred Warrant of Trade immediately! We are quite literally standing on the dynasty's pride and glory!" The Seneschal's face reveals genuine horror.
Kibellah"Only with much blood of the Undying One's enemies shall we be cleansed of the taint of this sacrilegious trampling of the relic."
Argenta"Holy Throne! Forgive and save us... God-Emperor!" Sister Argenta stands frozen in prayer, her hands forming the sign of the Aquila.
Solomorne"We should all be taken into custody and tried for such a crime against this sacred relic..." Solomorne is completely still, not permitting any new movement to further damage the Warrant.
Pasqal"Registering a transgression of the fourth... fifth degree? The Warrant of Trade was returned with a serious error in its coordinates." There is disapproval in Pasqal's voice, but it is unclear whether it is due to what happened to the Warrant or the inaccurate calculations for teleportation.
Cassia"Great Throne, preserve us against false steps!" Cassia fearfully lifts one foot off the paper.
Jae"Don't despair, shereen! We'll clean it all up! Your Warrant will be as good as new — I know a couple of restorers... scribes? Archaeologists?" Jae curses quietly as the edge of the sacred paper crunches under her boot.
Idira"The whispers beyond the door are rolling with laughter right now, the little blighters..." Idira says, barely concealing a crooked, but unmalicious grin herself.
Marazhai"I must say, this piece of organic material looks better as a rug. It is quite pleasant to trample the relics of the Imperium. I must do it again if I have the chance." Marazhai utters these words with murderous seriousness — unsavoury pleasure glitters in the depths of his eyes.
Yrliet"The sacred symbol of which the mon-keigh are so proud is wrought with very primitive technology. It is as if the fragility and ephemerality of your species is reflected in your culture as well." Yrliet takes a few feather-light steps, scarcely creasing the paper beneath her feet.

Ulfar"We have restored your honour, Aett-Vater, and that is what matters most. The Allfather's blessing is stamped on your dynasty from on high, and you need not mourn this... paper." Despite his bravado, Ulfar is still careful not to tread heavily on the Warrant of Trade.
Heinrix"It would be strange to suppose that that... being would release us without a final parting blow. This is the least of the harms it could have inflicted."
SeberianSeberian glances at the Warrant, but no angry outbursts, curses, or prayers erupt from his vox-synthesiser. "The dynasty is saved. Such an obscenity is a small price to pay for the fate of the von Valancius." His voice sounds thin, almost mechanical.
Calligos WinterscaleCalligos rushes about the Warrant in a rage, heedless of the paper ripping and being marred beneath his feet. "That cowardly, underhanded xenos! I have not finished with you! I have not finished with you! I'll have your iron skull yet, you dishonourable groxshit!"
Incendia Chorda"We have allowed our feet to touch the Warrant. We must flay our feet, make purity seals from the skin, and wear them until our wounds heal!" Fire blazes in Incendia's eyes and voice.
Incendia Chorda"That xenos still found a way to have the last laugh. Even after losing in battle. But I believe the God-Emperor will forgive us for treading on the sacred Warrant." Incendia's voice is cold and quiet.
Uralon the Cruel"And so the document signed by the False Emperor, the basis of all your power, Champion, lies beneath your feet like a vanquished foe. What does this mean to you now, [Name]? What does the symbol of the dynasty and the favour of the corpse on the throne awaken in your soul? Listen to yourself — and you will hear the whispers of the Pantheon."
